Whether it's for a birthday party, a bridal party or you just want a fun night (or day) out with friends, there is no experience required for these fun hand-building classes.

For all our private events, you pick the day! Because private classes are scheduled on a one-on-one basis, they can easily be arranged to fit your schedule and ours. Daytime, mornings, and weekends are available, please refer to our Studio Calendar for available (or unavailable) times

These classes are structured roughly the same as most of our workshops, beginning with an intro to the studio, a demonstration and then finally guided work through your own project. For private events please let us know if you have any particular project in mind, private classes can be tailored to each groups specific needs.

Because our studio is only equipped with one wheel, all classes are hand-building only. You will learn a variety of techniques for building and sculpting pots by hand that do not require a wheel, and will come away with a unique piece made by you!

Because the drying process and the firing process of clay takes some time, do not expect to take your projects home with you at the end of class. Students can typically expect their projects to be complete between two and four weeks after their class. Because our firing schedule is based on project volume, we do not have an exact firing schedule and you will be notified by e-mail when your pieces are ready to be picked up.
